Planning Your Fall Vegetable Garden is happening on Thursday, June 12th, from 6 to 8 p.m., brought to you by the City of Fort Worth Water Department.

Cooler temps are coming, and that means it’s thyme to turnip your garden game. Join David Cole from Tarrant County College as he shares how to grow a fall veggie patch that’s water-wise, low-stress, and totally unbeetable.

In this free class, you’ll learn how to:
• Plan for a fall full of flavor
• Prepare your soil and stay ahead of the weeding curve
• Conserve water while your garden grows
• Extend your growing season and squash common mistakes
• Pair plants that grow well together

The event will take place inside the beautiful Botanic Research Institute of Texas building at the north end of the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens main parking lot. Parking is free! We recommend arriving 15 minutes early and bringing any personal supplies—like snacks, drinks, or a notebook—to make the seminar even more radishing.
