Parks and Rec is excited to announce a special presentation highlighting one of Fort Myers’ natural treasures—the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve. Learn about the rich wildlife, scenic boardwalk trails, and vital ecological role of the slough from those who know it best.

We’re honored to welcome Rick Bauer, Slough Supervisor, and Sabine Vandenhende, outgoing Board President of the Friends of Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve, as our guest speakers. They’ll share fascinating insights, stories from the slough, and ways you can experience and support this unique environment.
