Class Information:
Techniques in acting, singing and dance are integrated into the rehearsal process and culminate in a full-length musical production. This unique performance experience offers students the opportunity to study and perform alongside adult professional actors.
Seussical TYA is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza! Join all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo as they transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. Seussical TYA is fun for the whole family!

*Students perform during a Broward County Public school day and will have to miss a day of school.

Note:
You will receive an email to confirm the date and time of the audition and directions for what to bring and prepare. Audition results will be provided via email. Decisions will be made by Aug 27. Once acceptance is announced, students will receive a class registration link and must register for the Performance Mentor Program class by Sep 3. If students do not register by Sep 3 and spots are still available, we will start accepting students from the waitlist. Students MUST attend all mandatory rehearsals and show dates. Students MUST not miss more than 3 class/rehearsal dates. Students are committing to perform in public performances. NO credits, transfers, or refunds will be provided.
