Healing Hands "HeART Work"

This project is designed for young ladies aged 10-24 to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month in May. The focus is on exploring emotions, self-expression, and mindfulness through art and STEM.

The objective of this project is for participants to:

• Explore and enhance their creativity, emotions, and mental health journey.
• Engage in self-expression through art and the integration of problem-solving and innovative hands-on learning.
• Foster self-awareness and resilience regarding their perception of "Self-Identity."
• Create artwork that visually represents their experiences and feelings.
• To prepare participants for a future where innovation and interdisciplinary skills are highly valued.
• To increase engagement, motivation, and networking among a unit of like-minded thinkers.

The following activities will be incorporated into the project:

• Artwork focusing on 3D sculpting.
• Group discussions on mental health topics and personal experiences.
• Mindfulness exercises to enhance emotional awareness.
• Reflection sessions to share and discuss their artwork.

By the end of the project, participants will:

• Have created a piece of artwork that represents their mental health journey through real-world applications.
• Develop a deeper understanding of their emotions.
• Build connections with peers through shared experiences, using art as a language.
• Enhance their resilience and coping strategies related to mental health.
• Create a more integrated and holistic learning experience, encouraging the connection of STEM education and art.
