A hands-on introduction to the art of Italian cheesemaking β slow, simple, and irresistibly delicious.
Join us in The Fieldhouse at 11 Acre Farm for a relaxed and informative masterclass that demystifies the world of fresh, homemade cheese. With a welcome drink in hand (tea, coffee or bubbles), youβll be guided through the fundamentals of traditional cheesemaking from your own kitchen.
Youβll learn how to source local ingredients, follow safe food practices, and gain confidence with cheesemaking terminology, temperatures and techniques.
This session features guided demonstrations of three beautiful Italian cheeses:
Mascarpone β creamy, spoonable and dreamy in both sweet and savoury dishes
Ricotta β soft, pillowy curds youβll want to eat by the spoon
Caprino Fresca β a fresh and tangy soft goatβs cheese, perfect on crusty bread
Guests will enjoy tastings of each cheese, along with light snacks throughout the class. Take-home recipe cards are included so you can recreate the magic in your own kitchen.
