The Secular Institute of the Apostolic Oblates has served in the Diocese of Brooklyn for several decades. Under the initial direction of their founder, Servant of God Guglielmo Giaquinta, the Pro Sanctity Movement has striven to be faithful to their mission of promoting the universal call to holiness, and assisting people in cultivating their interior life through the apostolate of the Pro Sanctity Movement.
For the last sixty years, the Pro Sanctity Movement has served Brooklyn and Queens, and has been residing at St. Kevin Parish in Flushing since 2011, while maintaining our apostolic groups in Brooklyn. After close to fifteen years of being part of the St. Kevin community, the Apolstolic Oblates have made the decision to close the Our Lady of Miracles Bethany, the group of Apostolic Oblates currently residing in our St. Kevin Convent.
To give thanks, celebrate, and say farewell to our "holy friends", all are invited to join us for Mass with on Sunday, August 24th at 11:00am, followed by hospitality, to wish Agnes, Mariakutty, and Renee well, and to pray for their mission as a whole, before they join their communities in Nebraska and California.
