Join us on Saturday, May 24th for another one of our Warhammer 40,000 Scrambler Events!
Each participant will come up with a 1000-point list. Where there will be an array of different teammates and matchups! This is the perfect event to learn a new army or experiment with new units. We welcome all skill levels to this event, as this is a casual event, made for teaching, learning and having a day full of 40k! As part of the new player experience we will have a crew member on hand to help with rulings and player behavior!
Army Lists:*
Each player will need to submit their 1000-point army list via email to
ZXZlbnRzIHwgbWVlcGxlbWFkbmVzcyAhIGNvbQ== by 11pm on Saturday, May 17th. Please see below for more information on list restrictions.
Round Pairings:
For the first round, we will randomly partner you with a teammate based on skill level, so Beginners will be paired with Advanced Players. For subsequent rounds, we will pair by matching highest with lowest scores.
The expected schedule is as follows:
Registration: 10:20am to 10:45am
Round One: 11:00am to 2:00pm
Food Break: 2:30pm to 3:30pm
Round Two: 3:45pm to 6:45pm
Round Three: 7:15pm to 10:15pm
*There will be list restrictions for this event to ensure newer players have a positive experience, and we reserve the right to request adjustments to your list, and may reject your list for any reason. We will allow for a resubmission of any lists that we ask to be adjusted up until 11pm on May 17th. The two following factions will not be accepted for this event as they are much harder to balance at the 1000 point level: Imperial Knights and Chaos Knights. Greater Daemons, Titanic Models, and Epic Heroes/Primarchs will also be off limits for this event. If the list restrictions prevent you from being able to play in this event and you would like to participate, please contact the staff.
There is no painting requirement for this event. 85% of model structure must be from an official Games Workshop kit. Leaving 15% that can be custom - kit bashing, green stuff, etc..
Prizing:
Each participant will receive dice for participating, and there will be prizes for both Best Painted Army and Best Sport.
