I’ve thought about this for years. Finally, let’s break into them…
Classes.
We have a whole list of classes and signups coming at the end of the year. These aren’t “do it my way, you way sucks” classes. These are classes to show you what WE do and how WE do it classes. If it sparks something inside your brain, run with it and flourish, young grasshopper.
The first class we have is an easy one.
The “Texas Twinkie”. Our first class is set for Saturday, June 14th from 4pm - 6pm. The perfect Father’s Day Gift 👀 The cost is $30 per person.
Like all of our classes, we’ll ge
t into unnecessary details. Things I’ve seen, learned, and heard over the years making them. Every single part of a Texas Twinkie is important. Unfortunately, that’s why it takes so long for me to make them.
A few things we’ll go over in detail…
Jalapeño size and shape
Jalapeño cleaning
Bacon selection
Seasoning
Grilling/smoking/torching
Saucing
Knives
Wood/charcoal selection
And a ton more…
It’s a jalapeño, stuffed with cream cheese and chopped brisket, wrapped in bacon, and then cooked. Easy but, it might take 2 hours, hands on, to explain the thoughts and process.
This is a hands on class. All of them will be. I can talk all day about wrapping bacon but, until you get frustrated 30 minutes through wrapping your first one, you won’t know how to do it. By the end of this class you’ll know how to make, cook, and eat Texas Twinkies.
