Join us for auditions for Zodiac Players Production of “Young Frankenstein The Musical” on one of these three dates (July 6-8, 2025):
Sunday, July 6 at Singing River Brewery, 526 East College St. in the event room (Follow the black balloons) 3 p.m.
Monday, July 7 at 415 N Seminary St. (First Methodist Church; Follow the balloons) 6 p.m.
Tuesday, July 8 at Singing River Brewery in their event room (Same balloons) 6 p.m.
All Auditions start times are 6 p.m. except Sunday, on which we'll start at 3 p.m.
Callbacks will be July 10 (venue announced soon) at 6 p.m.
Show dates are October 2, 3, 4, and 5 at the Shoals Theatre.
Please prepare a 30 second portion of a Disney or Broadway song, really any song is fine. Be prepared for cold reading from the script as well.

Show Information:
Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced "Fronk-en-steen") inherits his family's estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked sidekick, Igor (pronounced "Eye-gore"), and a leggy lab assistant, Inga (pronounced normally), Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. "It's alive!" he exclaims as he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather's. Eventually, of course, the monster escapes and hilarity continuously abounds.
Every bit as relevant to audience members who will remember the original as it will be to newcomers, Young Frankenstein has all the of campy humor of the screen sensation with a little extra theatrical flair added. With such memorable tunes as "The Transylvania Mania," "He Vas My Boyfriend" and "Puttin' on the Ritz," Young Frankenstein is scientifically proven, monstrously good entertainment.
