Welcome to the SURE (Substance Use Resource Education) Symposium!

Join us for a day of learning and collaboration at the Oil Belt Christian Service Camp. Our symposium will feature expert speakers, panel discussions, and valuable resources to help you address substance use in your community.

Whether you're a healthcare professional, educator, law enforcement, parent, or community member, this event is designed to provide you with the knowledge and tools needed to make a positive impact. Come together with like-minded individuals to share experiences, gain insights, and work towards a healthier future.

CEUs will be offered on: LCSW, LCPC, LSW, LPC at the end of the event.
We are in the process of working on additional CEUs.

Tentative Agenda:

8:30 am-9:00am - Registration

9:00 am-9:45am- Opening Remarks, Introduction of CADA members, Phil Givens, Clay County State’s Attorney

10:15am-11:00- Liesl Wingert

11:30-Lunch will be provided. Pasta Bar.

12:30pm- Question due to registration desk for panel

12:30pm- 1:15pm- Third Presenter

1:45pm-2:45pm- Panel Discussion with people with lived experience, behavior health professionals, etc.

Recovery Pannel – Attendees will have to opportunity to ask questions to learn how to better support those through recovery.

*booths will be set up on the outside perimeter with helpful resources in the community from 8:30-3pm

Hidden in Plain Sight room will be available from 9-3pm
