We snagged the group site at Rocky Gap State Park, August 8-10! A couple of hours west, one large site, and dog friendly! Let's bring our 40 favorite people (RPCVs and friends) together for some good ol' summer fun 🙂
Rocky Gap is a great location for all who enjoy swimming, kayaking, hiking, and hanging out in the wilderness.
This is not a rough and tough campground. Example- we use electric kettles for heating up water for coffee. The group site also has a cabin with a mini fridge, table and chairs, enough room to store food, and space for like 8 people for those who want a mattress.
Forgot coffee or want some ice cream? Head over to the snack shack by the lake. Super sweaty from a beautiful hike? The water pressure for the showers might be better than some Baltimore apartments.
Expected cost of $35 each.
