10am-2pm. Rain or shine. (In case of severe weather, check here and the website for updates.)
Location:
8301 Fawnsbrook Dr.
Fishers, Indiana 46038
Join us at our home near Conner Prairie for a day of hikes and learning. You’ll see native beds of various stages of maturity, largely untended woods, floodplain prairie, and creekside. Ask questions, get ideas, learn from our mistakes and successes.
Parkway and front beds are handicap accessible, other sections of yard have a bit of terrain. Bring sun protection, bug spray, and water. Wear shoes for a proper walk- flip flops and sandals are not recommended. There are no restroom facilities, so plan accordingly (restaurants are about a mile from here, on SR 37). Tours to field and creek will take about 30-45 minutes, front beds and side yard about the same. But you can duck out whenever, or stay as long as you like. You are welcome to take photos. Street parking is limited - please be super nice to our neighbors, and carpool if possible.
It’s a big place, with lots to see and talk about, so there’s plenty of room. All our online (shippable) items will be available for purchase and in-person pickup. We will not have them displayed outside due to the potential for sun, heat, and humidity/rain damage.
Hope to see you then!
