Design Your Own: Wood Wall Clock

In this class, participants will design their very own plywood clock to be laser cut and engraved on the CO2 lasers at Maker Playground. At the end of the class, participants will take home their very own, one-of-a-kind functional analog clock to hang in their home. Participants will draw and utilize software to ideate and create their design, and staff will operate the laser to bring their creation to life. We will then sand and finish or paint the clock faces before installing the clock mechanism and hands. No prior experience required. Materials provided.
• When: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 12 -or- Friday, June 13
• Where: Maker Playground (8100 E. 106th Street, Suite 150, Fishers, IN 46038)
Ages: 14+ (16 and under must be accompanied by an adult)
Cost: $35 ($52.50 non-residents)

“Design Your Own” classes give registered students the opportunity to design a one-of-a-kind project on their own with the staff guidance and tools Maker Playground provides.
