Join us for our next homeschool field trip at Black Barn Alpacas on Wednesday, December 10th, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM in Finksburg. Even though it might be a little chilly, this is such a sweet and memorable place to visit—especially around the holidays!
We’ll get to meet and feed the alpacas (which is honestly the best part), and a guide will walk us around the ranch to teach us about alpaca care, fleece, and how the farm operates. Everyone will have the chance to get up close and personal with the herd, where we can hand-feed them and, of course, take some adorable photos.
The option to create your own fleece ornament to take home is available for an additional $1. After the tour, families will enjoy some free time to take advantage of the games and activities within and around the barn- or spend more time with the alpacas. Don’t forget to pack lunch! With plenty of picnic tables available, we can all enjoy lunch together before ending our field trip.
