Synopsis:
Gran’s Guide to Stop an Ogre (Also Works for Witches and Bullies): Zach and Lilly arrive home from school upset about the troubles from their day — Zach’s friend is getting pushed around, Lilly is being left out by the “mean girls” who rule the school, and both of them are worried about being called tattle-tales. Granny tells them a seemingly unrelated whimsical, magical story... but it might just help them overcome the bullies they face at school. In Granny’s helpful story, Jack and Jill stand up to a mean and tough ogre and a wicked witch with the help of a wide variety of helpful fairytale friends.
Teen Showcase: The Teen Talent Showcase, as part of the Rising Star Revue, will be an exciting production, where we showcase Spotlight Community Theatre’s wonderful teen talent, with a scripted performance, of a theatrical nod to Broadway. This Showcase will feature 16 to 18 of our incredibly talented teens (from 13-19years of age). This performance will showcase our teens’ tremendous talent, which could include anything from singing, dancing and musical instruments, to portraying various characters in short theatrical scenes and/or wonderful monologues. This will be a thrilling, star-studded, production not to be missed.

Auditions will be held in 10-minute slots, so be sure to sign up and be prepared. Both Youth ATS and the Teen Talent Showcase will be auditioning during these time slots—don’t miss your chance to shine!
