2025 ARRL Field Day

Come and join the fun at this year’s National Amateur Radio Field Day. **Every June, more than 31,000 hams throughout North America set up temporary transmitting stations in public places to demonstrate ham radio's science, skill and service to our communities and our nation.

It combines public service, emergency preparedness, community outreach, and technical skills all in a single event. Field Day has been an annual event since 1933 and remains the most popular event in Ham Radio.

The FWARC will be participating in the Amateur Radio National Field Day so come down and join the Federal Way Amateur Radio Club on Saturday June 28, 2025, at the East side of Lakota Park from 11.00am to 6:00pm.

We will be contacting as many other stations as possible during this national event. Learn about amateur radio, what the club does to support our community. We will have a station open to unlicensed persons as well as Amateur Radio Operators who have been out of the hobby for a while. This will give you a chance to get on the air.
