North Carolina Concealed Carry Course

This is the North Carolina Justice Academy Model CHP Course, the required course for citizens of North Carolina to obtain a Concealed Carry Handgun permit. This class covers laws governing the use of deadly force, concealed carry statutes, and other relevant issues. The course will provide you with the necessary knowledge and certifications required to become a safe responsible Concealed Carry Handgun permit holder. Upon successful completion, each student will receive a certificate of completion which must be included with your CHP application to your county’s Sheriff's department. Please check federal, state, and local law to confirm that you are eligible for the CHP permit.
