Day of Arafah Prayer and Potluck Iftar

Assalamualaikum everyone.

Alhamdulillah for the opportunity to reach the holy month of Dhul Hijjah, the twelfth and final month of our Islamic calendar. We invite you and your loved ones to join us at Masjid As Salam at 8:15 PM on Friday, 6 June 2025, for Day of Arafah Congregational Prayer and Potluck Iftar.

We ask everyone to contribute food and drinks (enough for 8 to 10 people) for the iftar, as it was narrated from Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani that our Beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW said,
“Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.” Sunan Ibn Majah 1746
