Louisiana Watermelon Festival 5k Walk/Run

Join Us for the 2025 Louisiana Watermelon Festival 5K!

Ready for a fun and challenging summer race? The Louisiana Watermelon Festival 5K is back for 2025! Runners and walkers alike can take on our exciting course featuring a fast, downhill first mile followed by the infamous Watermelon Mountain climb at mile 2.

This year’s race supports Willpower Foundation, Inc., a Northeast Louisiana nonprofit powered by volunteers who raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Learn more about the foundation and their mission at: https://linktr.ee/willpowerfoundation

All finishers will enjoy refreshing slices of locally grown Louisiana watermelon at the finish line—nothing better on a warm race day!

• Location: Parking lot in front of Farmerville First Baptist Church

• Race Day Registration Opens: 6:30 AM
• Race Start Time: 7:30 AM

Fees:
• Online Registration: $30 (closes July 25th at 7 PM)
• Race Day Registration: $35

Please Note: Roller blades and skates are not permitted on the course.
