Solaris Melee Challenge Brief
For the Starting characters, you will have 5 million c-bills to buy a mech, 0 fame, and 10 character points to set up your character. For new players I would suggest picking a mech that would be better at brawling as most of the game will be in medium to short range, (melee mechs do better usually), but pick the mechs you would like to use. With that in mind I will be putting the mechs into an availability pool augmented with some mechs that I feel are fun and exciting, and first to buy it gets the mech. We will be starting in Light mechs and will progress to larger frames as the rounds go on, so with that in mind pick mechs that you would like to get to use if you can make enough c-bills from the game (bring as many sheets as you would like or use devices to track your mech), you may also make 1 modified canon mech (e.g. swapping out machine guns to lasers in a mech). If your character dies or loses their mech and is unable to purchase or fix said mech then you are able to restart the character from the start if you would like, with that if we have progressed to a larger frame then you are able to purchase a larger frame as well, I will be giving C-bill injections as the day goes on so that if people show up later they are able to compete at the least. If you would like to bring your own mechs to play with then do so as I will only have so many of each chassis and that brings us to proxies, if I do not have the chassis for the mech you want then we will proxy with a released mech that works for it.
