In this memoir manifesto, Ruth Hetland shares her quest for a healthy work culture, drawing on the wisdom gained throughout her career. Through relatable examples, she illustrates how activating soft skills—our often hidden "superpowers"—can transform workplaces into collaborative, empowered environments. The book is built around The STRONG Framework, a practical guide that demonstrates specific superpowers in action, making leadership both relatable and inspiring. The foreword, written by Ruth's original two team members, adds depth and authenticity to her leadership journey. And each chapter is accompanied by a comic strip, created by the third member of Ruth's original team, reinforcing key themes in a unique way. This book is an essential guide for leaders looking to cultivate a work culture where everyone feels seen, heard, trusted, supported, empowered, valued, and engaged.
