Foraging Class and Plant ID Walk

Rabanus Park is blooming with native herbs! We'll meet up at the picnic tables for foraging and plant identification tips, then walk the short trail and put it into practice. We won't actually forage anything from the park, but it's a great place to see many of the plants we have in the area. Then, we can later put those skills to use foraging out in the wild.
Here's what I saw while out there yesterday:
Prairie Rose
Flax
Upright Prairie Coneflower
Wild Bergamot
Hoary Vervain
Purple Prairie Clover
Plantain
Sweetclover
And much, much more!

I'll also talk about a free app I use for confirming plant ID. If you want to check it out beforehand, it's called iNaturalist. You can use either the classic or new version. I like them both.
