Allee Mead Author Event: Isaac

Isaac is set in a future where people can buy humanoid robots to serve as caregivers for those with disabilities or health conditions requiring 24-hour care. After her father passes away, Eleanor takes his care-bot home to help with her loneliness. Her story is braided with the story of how her fathers, John and Javi, met and fell in love.

Author bio:
Allee Mead is a Grand Forks writer whose work has appeared in journals like The Northern Mirror and UND's Floodwall. She is a UND graduate and employee and appeared on an episode of Jeopardy! in June 2024. Her debut novella, Isaac, is published through Space Wizard Science Fantasy.
