Penmere Station Centenary Plaque Unveiling

We are delighted to invite you to our Centenary Plaque Unveiling. To celebrate the Centenary of the opening of Penmere Station by Great Western Railway, a commemorative plaque is to be unveiled at 12 Noon on Tuesday 1st July, the exact date the Station opened as Penmere Platform 100 years ago.

Unveiling the plaque will be the Granddaughters of Leonard Grose, Penmere Station Booking Clerk from 1945 to 1968 and creator of the original station garden, and Robert Lamport, Penmere Station Ticket Collector from 1950s to 1960s.
