Ballroom Dance Lessons with Kawther Hakim

Come join dance instructor Kawther Hakim and learn the basic steps of Ballroom dance at the Rainbow Valley Grange.

These classes are tailored to beginner or intermediate dancers. Dance lessons are a great way to meet new friends and fun way to get some exercise. No experience or partner needed.

Two separate classes are offered on Fridays at 6:30-7:20 PM and 7:30-8:20 PM and start on the following dates:

August 15, 2025:
Waltz at 6:30-7:20
Rumba at 7:30-8:20

August 22, 2025:
Foxtrot at 6:30-7:20
East Coast Swing at 7:30-8:20

August 29, 2025:
Tango at 6:30-7:20
Cha Cha at 7:30-8:20

September 5, 2025:
Waltz at 6:30-7:20
Rumba at 7:30-8:20

September 12, 2025:
Samba at 6:30-7:20
Dance Party* at 7:30-8:20
*This will be your practice time without the teacher. The music for the Dance Party will be played to include all above dances.

Join us for one class or for both classes. A donation of $5.00 will be collected for each 50 minute class.
