Bring your homemade cake and join us for an afternoon of sweets, sunshine, and community at Lake O’Neill! This is a relaxed, family-friendly event where everyone shares slices, chats about baking, and enjoys a lakeside sunset together.🌅
🎟️ ARRIVAL & REGISTRATION
Check in at the Registration Booth when you arrive (look for the labeled table!)
• Show your cake for entry
• Get your wristband
• Receive setup instructions before placing your cake at the display tables
Please arrive on time, registration opens at 3:00 PM so you have space to set up before the showcase begins!
🎂 HOW IT WORKS
• Everyone must bring a homemade cake to participate
• You’ll get to showcase your cake and taste slices from others’ creations
• The goal: trying new flavors, meeting new people, and celebrating baking together!
🍴 WHAT TO BRING
• Your cake (at least 10 servings) + allergy label (gluten, nuts, dairy, etc.)
• Safe cake-cutting utensil like a pie or cake server (no sharp knives)
• Utensils + container to take home slices
• Water or drinks – no beverages will be provided, absolutely no alcohol allowed 🚫
• Folding table if possible, the more the merrier
⚠️ Boxes, to-go containers, and utensils will not be provided, so please plan ahead!
✨ TIMELINE
3:00–3:30 PM – Arrival & cake setup
3:30–4:15 PM – Showcase & mingling
4:15 PM – Cake sharing begins (for registered participants only)
5:30–6:00 PM – Relax & enjoy the lake sunset 🌅
