Introduction to Ice Fishing

New and seasoned ice anglers welcome!

This is an introduction to ice fishing course that will cover the basics of ice fishing, discuss ice safety, and allow for plenty of practice time. Please dress in warm layers and prepare to be out on the ice! Bring an ice fishing rod if you have one, but BCR poles will be available.

We will meet out at the Halfmoon Lake beach parking lot before we head out to drill some holes. No experience necessary, family participation is encouraged! An active fishing license is required for ages 16+.

Ages: All Ages | Children under 16 must have an adult present.
Cost: $12 BCR Members, $15 Non-members
