Winter Bird Banding

Join us at the Beaver Creek Reserve banding station for a bird banding demonstration!

Observe as permitted banders identify birds, measure wings, and determine the age of some of our more common feathered friends. You’ll have the chance to see birds like the Black-capped Chickadee, Downy Woodpecker, and White-breasted Nuthatch up close while learning about how banding helps bird conservation.

Cost: $8.00 BCR Members, $12.00 Non-Members
Ages: All ages!
