Amateur Radio Field Day
June 28- 29
The St. Clair Amateur Radio Club (SCARC) of Belleville will be participating in the annual American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Field Day at Pleasant Ridge Park in Fairview Heights.
Field day is the most popular amateur radio event in the US and Canada, with over 35,000 radio amateurs making over a million contacts each year. During Field Day, Radio Amateurs practice their skills and plans for operations from austere locations in emergency situations.
