Queer Self Defense Class

A Self Defense Class geared towards the LGBTQIA2S+ Community & their Allies. These Hour Long Classes are Free & are Beginner Friendly. Learn to handle uncomfortable situations in a safe space.

Our classes start with Light Stretching as all Workouts should, then it goes into Movement Drills which will help you prepare for the Techniques that you’re about to learn. Then it is the main event. You will pair off & learn a beginner Jiu Jitsu technique that works in real life. These usually are reviews of past techniques before building on them with something new.

We do want everyone to be comfortable during class. So, please dress as you would for a workout. If you need to change, the studio does have communal & private gender neutral changing areas.
