About the event

58th annual Gem & Mineral, Fossil and Jewelry Show
Fluorescent rock collecting has opened up whole hardy excitement among mineral collectors utilizing Ultraviolet Light. Our July 12th and 13th show will have 3 tents in the back annex of the Center of Progress building dedicated to beautiful glowing mineral specimens. It is fascinating and a sight to behold. John Dean the founder of FS Hunter will be in one of those tents. FS Hunter is the manufacturer of UV flashlights aiming to keep the hobby affordable for people that want to search for fluorescent minerals. He will also be giving a presentation at 12:45pm at the Learning Center in that back annex. Come check out these beautiful exhibits!
Our show offers minerals, fossils, crystals, jewelry demonstrations, lectures, geode cracking and metaphysical practioners. We have a wonderful and exciting youth area including a sluice, soap stone carving and jewelry making. And we have a wholesale area!
