Join us for a special evening honoring the legendary Sly Stone - a true musical icon whose message and music remain as powerful and relevant today as ever. Though he has recently passed, his spirit lives on through the timeless music and inspiring message he left behind.

The evening will feature a powerhouse band led by drummer Jager Soss, with a stellar lineup including Binky Griptite (of Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings). Franklin Stribling, professionally known as Binky Griptite, is an American songwriter, musician, record producer, and radio DJ. He is best known as a founding member and guitarist of Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings, Antibalas, and The Soul Providers, among other Daptone related projects. From 2017 to 2021, he hosted the popular weekly radio program The Boogie Down on WFUV.
