This class series with Shannon is a delicious opportunity to deepen your strength and structure as a practitioner of Contact Improvisation.
We will focus on the 3 tiers of weight sharing:
1. Know your center.
2. Lean into a shared center
3. Get over it or Get under it.
(a person's center must be under another for them to be lifted)
This dance practice explores the skills of falling, rolling, counterbalance, lifting using minimal effort, how to make ourselves light when being lifted, centering techniques, and responsiveness to our partners and surroundings.
