About the event

Handmade Holiday Market, Santa Train, Tree Lighting

Fairbanks Arts Association's annual Handmade Holiday Market from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Shop handmade arts and crafts, check out the Bear Gallery, attend Children's Story Time and event sit down and watch a holiday classic (The Muppet Christmas Carol!).

Ride the Santa Train from 11:00am to 5:00pm. The Friends of the Tanana Valley Railroad will be running historic steam train No. 1 with free rides around the park. Santa will be in the museum to get Christmas lists from all the good boys and girls!

Attend Pioneer Park's annual lighting ceremony in Bartlett Plaza at 3:00pm. Enjoy caroling and see Santa as the MC!
