ELCA AK Synod Youth Summer Trip

Middle– and high-school youth, our next event opportunity with several ELCA AK congregation youth groups is a four-night trip to Fairbanks this summer, June 23 -27. We’ll paddle and float lakes and rivers with local guides, complete service projects, play, meet friends, pray, and experience the land of the midnight sun at the height of summer. Several south-Central congregations will be carpooling, and organizers are happy to meet youth groups at the airport if coming from off the road system. We’re keeping costs low by camping and sleeping over at a local church, and seeking congregational donations of gas money and meal components.
