Paralyzed to Powerful with Robert Paylor '15

Join us for the final presentation of the new Professional Development Speaker Series on June 26 at 6 p.m. in the Jesuit Gym’s Welcome Center. Jesuit alum, inspirational speaker, and author Robert Paylor ’15, will present “Paralyzed to Powerful.”

After sustaining a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed, Paylor has spent the last eight years defying the odds, relearning how to walk and building a life of purpose and strength. In his book, Paralyzed to Powerful: Lessons from a Quadriplegic’s Journey released May 6, 2025, he shares not only the mindset, tools, and journey that helped him overcome immense physical and emotional challenges, but also how his experience at Jesuit High School and the value of being a Man for Others have shaped his recovery and who he is today. We will welcome Paylor back to campus for a talk and book signing on June 26!
