Greetings mic-takers!
This month we're featuring up-and-coming Theatre & Community Practitioner/Producer, poet and performer: Sonia Thakurdesai!
"Sonia is a creative human & curious being- floating/flailing their way through themes of identity, belonging, light-touch existentialism and queerness. She straddles the silly and the serious, bringing vulnerability and play."
Sonia was unlucky to narrowly miss making the final of the City Slam back in April, but her finely crafted heartfelt poetry certainly made an impression. I, for one, really want to hear what she was saving for the final... and now I can. Yippee!
In addition to Sonia's 15 minutes, there are sixteen 5 minute slots up for grabs - it would be brilliant to see and hear you there
