SOLO JAZZ WORKSHOP

Saturday 21 February: Solo Jazz workshop with SWLH. No long jazz routines to remember. Knowledge of Lindy Charleston and standard 6 and 8 beat rhythms recommended.

Time: Doors open 1.30pm for a 1.45pm start.

Class 1: 1.45-2.45pm

Class 2: 3.15-4.15pm

Venue: St James' Church Hall, Mount Pleasant Road, EXETER EX4 7AH. On-site parking (no double parking please). Extra parking at the Mount Pleasant Health Centre. Mount Pleasant Rd. EX4 7BW, just 2 mins from the venue (no charges)

Followed by The Hot House Combo. This lively 4 piece band will have you toe tapping, swinging and dancing to the jazzier sounds of the 1930's/40's Discount if paying for the workshop too.
