Devon Community Pharmacy September Conference - Resilience in Action
Calling all Pharmacists, Pharmacist locums, Pharmacy Technicians, and other members of the pharmacy teams in Devon
We are all working in challenging times and change is constant. To help our pharmacy teams build resilience and maximise opportunities that are available we have arranged this autumn conference to support you.
There is a packed agenda covering lots of interesting topics including:
The implications of the NHS 10 Year plan for Community Pharmacy in Devon
Effective use of skill mix
Maximising your NHS services;
Managing overload in the pharmacy;
Clinical update on hypertension
Managing clinical uncertainty to support your patient consultations
and much more.
There will also be opportunities to connect with other pharmacy colleagues from across the county and share ideas and learning.
Representatives from the local universities will be present and sharing information of training and educational opportunities and access to funding.
Educational representatives from the University of Bath and the University of Exeter will be there. This will give you the opportunity to find out more about the new pharmacy school at Plymouth and what post-qualification training opportunities are on offer. Whether you’re interested in some additional CPD or want to consider a fully funded advanced MSc clinical qualification, you will be able to chat with representatives from both of these institutions about what’s on offer.
Delegates will be able to access an online conference programme and resources. There will be light refreshments when you arrive, and lunch provided as well as various goodies available during the day.
Sponsors from the pharmaceutical industry will be there for a chat and browse during break times.
