Introduction to Knitting in the Round

Want to knit garments but hate seaming? Fancy unlocking a world of new projects such as hats, cowls, mitts, socks, colourwork, and sweaters? Join us for the essential first step: a fun introduction to knitting in the round.

-Explore the benefits and pitfalls of knitting in the round.
-Learn how to avoid those potential pitfalls
-Find your perfect method for circular knitting. We will have long and short circular needles as well as double pointed needles for you to try out.

Start to create a fun cowl or beanie hat in the round. You can bring your own chunky yarn, or purchase what you need on the day. Once you've settled on your preferred method of knitting in the round, we'll recommend the best needles for your project.
Learn how to adjust simple flat patterns to work in the round.
