Ovation West Performing Arts season kickoff event includes a lineup of four amazing local jazz groups: Blue Sky Jazz Collective, The Laurie D Jazz Duo, The Patrick Lee Trio and Clint Dadian Quintet. This concert also marks the start of Evergreen Creative District’s Mountain Jazz Month. Stay for the entire Festival or come for your favorites.

Billboard Magazine award recipient, Laurie Dameron, has been playing the guitar for over 55 years. She has performed for hundreds of venues over the past 30 years. A broad repertoire allows her to perform at many different venues.

Laurie has three albums and four singles published.

Jeff Fournier is a prolific bassist covering many genres. He has performed for many years including working on cruise ships with famous musicians like Petula Clark, Vic Damone, Al Martino, Miami Sound Machine and Charo.

He has performed with many local Colorado Bands such as Funkiphino, Hazel Miller, Nelson Rangell, members of String Cheese Incident, Leftover Salmon and with internationally known Mos Def and Melanie and currently plays with Soul Sacrifice (Colorado's Santana Cover Band) and Denver's favorite dance band, Thumpin'.
