John Weeks Band

John Weeks Band is a high‑energy blues/rock ensemble based in Denver, Colorado, formed by guitarist and vocalist John Weeks in 2013. The group skillfully blends classic blues roots with European influences—John honed his chops performing in Paris in the 1990s—then shakes everything up with funky grooves, strong vocals, and sharp musical chemistry. That mix of grit and melody has earned them recognition and awards, including top slots at the Colorado Blues Society challenges and fans’ choice honors.
On stage, they bring serious fun: think soulful riffs, tight rhythm, and vocals that cut through in electric trio, duo, or full band setups. Fronted by Amy Rose Scott alongside Pat Carpenito (bass), Alayna Simmons (sax), and Jimmy Yozell (drums).
