Funny Mic Comedy Open Mic – New Jokes Night
Penang’s go-to comedy open mic, Funny Mic is back with New Jokes Night. This is not your usual comedy lineup. It’s a testing ground for fresh, unfiltered, never heard before material from comedians who dare to try something new.
With a lineup that can stretch beyond six acts a night (we had about 14 comedians during Laugh A Night 1), Funny Mic delivers a wild mix of styles, perspectives, and punchlines. Each performer brings their style and voice, making every show a dynamic and unpredictable experience.
New Jokes Night is all about experimental. Comedians hit the stage with fresh materials, test out ideas of jokes, and work out fresh punchlines right in front of a live audience. You’ll witness jokes being crafted live, some landing perfectly, others gloriously waiting to be punchlined and that’s part of the fun. It's unpredictable, fresh, and ridiculously entertaining.
