Beers and Queers Lake Party!
Come out to Lake Leatherwood in Eureka Springs for some swimmin’ and sunnin’ together. Bring yourself and whatever you need to be comfortable! There will be some boats and stand up paddle boards, games, music, and shared snacks but please bring whatever else sounds good :)
Carpooling is encouraged and some have already mentioned wanting to drive! If you are willing to drive, drop it in the comments and where you’re coming from. Coordinate amongst yourselves or reach out if you need some help!
We have campsite SG5 to use as a hub where you can drive down and drop off anything bulky (coolers, boats, chairs, etc), then go to the meadow or main parking areas.
There’s plenty to do in Eureka and the lake- come early, camp out, stay late.. go bike or hike. The lake has boat rentals of various kinds as well (non-motorized) if you want your own!
We had some hardy peeps show up last year when it was 75 degrees and overcast in June.. we’re hoping August is more reliable!

P.S. be safe, have a sober driver or a plan, and when in doubt, wear a life jacket on the water!
