SOUL VIBRATOR —
An electrifying 8-piece funk ensemble that transcends musical boundaries. Led by front woman Samira Lobby and Guitarist and Vocalist Zev Kamrat who together have charismatic, soulful and versatile voices that guide the band through funky grooves and electrifying performances.
Soul Vibrator is more than just a band; it’s a multi-sensory experience. With a stage adorned in vibrant lights their genre-defying music comes to life. The ensemble features a dynamic lineup, including a guitarist delivering funky riffs, a bassist with tight grooves, a drummer creating percussive beats that make you move, a saxophonist crafting blazing horn melodies, a trumpeter adding a bold brass flavor, a keyboardist mastering psychedelic synth sounds, and a percussionist layering rhythmic complexity.
Their repertoire spans original compositions and funky reinterpretations of classics, ensuring an unpredictable journey from high-energy dance tunes to soulful ballads, keeping the audience on their toes and leaving an indelible mark on the funk scene. Soul Vibrator has been a mainstay of the Eugene, Oregon funk scene for half a decade. Formed fresh out of high school, the founding members began by jamming at local open mics to form songs and hone their skills. After spending a couple years writing and playing shows, Soul Vibrator entered the local “Eugene Weekly’s Next Big Thing” contest and won, earning time at a local studio. Between 2014-15 they recorded and released their debut album Electric Stardust. Realizing that their next record needed to be more polished and streamlined Soul Vibrator began writing and furiously playing shows at local venues and events. Over the course of the next few years they would share the stage with Turkuaz, Monophonics, Moon Hooch, Polyrhythmics, Dirtwire (feat. members of Beats Antique), Ripe, and The Dip. In 2017 Soul Vibrator realized one of their goals by playing Main Stage at the fabled Oregon Country Fair.
Soul Vibrator expanded upon their previous funk roots by incorporating soul, R&B and hip-hop into their lexicon, as well some aspects of more progressive music. After numerous ensemble changes they finally settled on Zeviel Kamrat (lead guitar/vocals), Samira Lobby (lead vocals/dance moves), Miles Albert (bass), Max Pinder (keys/vocals), and Sam Fox Hayward (drums) with various horn players filtering through their ranks. With a constantly evolving live show, their energy continues to draw crowds as they prepare for their third album.

Among the smell of hops and malted barley, down the alleyway and past the glowing red door, burns the dulcet yet fiery tones of the Whiteaker Hot Club.
Sparked in 2017, the Whiteaker Hot Club has touched venues up and down the West coast with their musical prowess and improvisational bedlam.
Rooted with inspiration from legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt and his groundbreaking ensemble the Quintette du Hot Club de France, and paired with the sounds of early American swing with a haze of modernity, the Whiteaker Hot Club isn’t your typical sit down jazz band. Bring your dancing shoes and join the club. The Hot Club will be joining forces with Tug & The Heart Strings at the Hybrid for a special dual band performance.
