There’s a kind of magic that unfolds when Sarah LeComte steps into a room- an alchemy of truth and tenderness that settles over you like golden light. She’s not only the luminous voice of Big Fir, but a beloved part of this community: a mother, a friend to all, and someone who makes you feel truly seen the moment you’re near her. Her presence is grounding, warm, and full of grace. As a songwriter, her work is poetic and deeply human- she carries the kind of quiet power that invites others in. Sarah is radiant, inside and out. Her uniquely angelic tone is impossible to imitate and floats through the air, gently finding its way into every corner and every heart. Her voice and words are not just heard; they’re felt deeply.
Apis Mellifera is a globetrotting muse on perpetual tour. With a voice both sweet and haunting, her sound has been described as "whimsically macabre"—a blend of cheeky lyrics and lilting melodies that seem light on the surface, but resonate with deeper meanings, capable of tugging the most tender of heartstrings. Her music takes listeners on a full-body journey through the spectrum of human emotions. It's a performance not just heard — but felt. From soaring joy to wistful disdain, passionate love to aching despair, each note is a pulse that draws you deeper into her world. Whether you're flying through the joy of the moment, or sinking into the melancholy of the past, her music promises to leave you forever changed.
Courtney Renea is a vocalist, poet, and writer shaped by the wild stillness of rural Indiana. She grew up singing gospel harmonies in church with her mom and sisters, learning early how voices could weave warmth and meaning into a room. After studying jazz vocals in college, she spent her 20s performing with her family band, Madrona. Her work is deeply inspired by the natural world and a love for justice— the rooted in earth, connection, and the belief that language can heal. She’s currently writing original music in her own project Molten Bloom, singing harmony vocals for Forest Mountain Lion, and preparing her debut poetry collection, Fragments of Fire.
Forest Mountain Lion is a Eugene-based musician creating lyric-driven "animist folk rock" that brings together themes of love, the invulnerable human spirit, the power of local community, and resistance to exploitative industrial systems. Forest is accompanied by Jacob Sellars on bass and Courtney Renea on harmony vocals. The group is currently in the process of recording their new album Love and Other Acts of Subversion, and Forest's previous albums are available on all streaming platforms.
