Free & all ages. Listen to live Americana, roots rock & 50's - 70’s acoustic rock/folk while enjoying the many beverage & food options at Oakshire Public House. Eugene based acoustic trio Sassafras! plays a wide variety of roots rock, Americana, folk, and a pinch of Celtic and originals. Acoustic playfulness with vocal harmonies, humorous ditties, and heart-felt ballads. They love to get creative with songs by John Prine, America, Linda Ronstadt, Bob Dylan, the Beatles, Johnny Cash, & traditional Celtic.
Sassafras! plays a unique signature blend of laid-back roots rock, sultry southern Americana, and foolish folk, with a smattering of Celtic and originals.

Brent was raised in Eugene, playing guitar since age four, singing in school & church choirs, and playing classical & jazz trumpet at L.C.C. and the University of Oregon. He has played guitar and sang in various cover and original bands, most recently in the Celtic band Faroe Rum. Virgil was born and raised in the South, playing percussion since an early age. He picked up the Irish tin whistle about thirty years ago. Kamden grew up in North Texas, surrounded by blues, bluegrass, and country music, often singing along with her father to doo-wop, folk, and big bands. She played trombone, sang in a-cappella honor choir, and was a classical pianist.
