Poetry Night hosted by Jalen Thompson

When I first created this show, I wanted to break the fixed ideas of what poetry can be. Now that I'm entering into this new era of the show, I want to be more expansive of what poetry can mean. This month I am featuring local musicians from a range of genres who really tap into their artistry through experimenting with melody, tone, and songwriting.

@jalen.thompson is a local musical artist and poet currently based in Eugene. He has produced and performed in a variety of local poetry and music showcases. Blending a mix of poetry, rap, R&B, and indie rock, he continues to tap into his artistry unapologetically. With 8 poetry albums and 3 rap albums released to date, you can listen to his work on all streaming platforms.
