National Tree Day - Killcare Beach

Enjoy a morning of community planting with shrubs, ground covers and trees specific for each location, grown for this purpose by environmental volunteers at our depot nursery!

• Find us: Beach Drive, Killcare, near the Killcare Surf Lifesaving Club
• Smoking ceremony and Acknowledgment of Country: 8:30am
• Event time: 9am- 1pm
• Registration: on arrival or you can pre-register at Planet Ark’s National Tree Day: https://nationaltreeday.org.au/

Killcare Beach kicks off with a traditional smoking ceremony at 8.30am, with free community planting at both events from 9am to 1pm, along with live music, educational workshops, animal shows, facepainting and kids’ craft, plus coffee and food options.

Please bring sun protection, a hat and gloves, and wear enclosed footwear and protective clothing.
