Come join us at the brand new TailWag Resorts, located in Escondido, CA! We will have full use of Leap Land and Sniff Safari areas, to run and explore. Then at 11:00am, we'll have corgi races! Sign up at the welcome table (where you will also sign the standard liability release waiver); the number of heats will depends on the number of corgis attending, then the winner of each heat will run in the final race.
We will be asking a $10 entry fee (for the race only) to help offset the yearly dues for the Meetup Group. Cash is preferred, but we can also take Venmo. We will have medals for the winner of each heat and a trophy for the grand winner!
Our hosts ask that all pups be vaccinated against rabies and bordatella. Also, please leash your pup when moving from Leap Land to Sniff Safari. The entire resort is fenced, but the leashing between areas is an added measure of safety.
We are welcome to bring snacks, which will be near the parking and away from pilfering low-riders, so feel free to bring some snacks to share if you wish.
Please RSVP if you can by May 11th so our hosts can be prepared for the corgi brigade! We do know that life can be unpredictable, so feel free to come even if you forget to RSVP. The RSVP is per vehicle, due to parking limitations, so feel free to bring as many dogs/people as your car can hold. Carpooling is encouraged!
